Technical Issues — IDFX / IDPX Practice Tests

To use all Qpractice features, you must use an updated browser. You will also get the best performance when using the most updated operating system.

Qpractice can not guarantee performance for customers that do not have a current operating system supported by Apple or Microsoft and/or do not use or cannot update to the latest version of current browsers.

To receive technical support and help troubleshoot your issue, we will require information about your system. Please visit https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and share the information with us.

Which browser should I use?

It depends upon your computer’s operating system.

Most times, the best option is to use the native browser. But if you are using an older operating system and you still are having trouble after following these directions, try a fresh install of Google Chrome. Qpractice does NOT support Internet Explorer, and we no longer recommend Firefox.

If you are using Windows 10, you will usually get better performance using Microsoft Edge.

For Mac, especially retina displays, you’ll get better performance with Safari.

Keep your browser up to date

The entire quiz or test runs in your browser, so it’s important to keep it updated. It’s best to set this to happen automatically. Because the entire quiz runs in your browser, do not refresh the page while taking a quiz or practice test — you’ll lose your work.

Practice Tests

If you have had your login session open overnight, please log out and log back in before starting your practice test. If your login session expires while taking the test, you will lose your work.

  1. ALL quizzes must be completed in one session.
  2. Do not refresh the page during the quiz, or you will lose your work.
  3. To simulate using the on-screen scratchpad, open and use WordPad on PC or TextEdit on Mac for note-taking.
  4. Open and use the Google calculator in a browser tab to simulate using the on-screen calculator.
  5. To retake the quiz, press either “Reset Lesson” on this page or “Reset Quiz” at the bottom of the results page.
  6. If you have trouble, please, contact us from the on-page support beacon in the lower right and share your system information by visiting https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/.
